Rodrigo Bini, PhD

Cycling and Exercise Biomechanics

Biography

I am a trained biomechanist and an ESSA Accredited Exercise Scientist working as a Senior Lecturer at the La Trobe Rural Health School. I teach biomechanics and research methods subjects in the Bachelor of Exercise Science (Bendigo). My research interests involve biomechanics of exercise and sports, with special attention to cycling and running. I also conduct studies on internal body loads during resisted training exercises and occupational tasks.

I am also a research associate at AUT-Sprinz and hold an honorary position supervising HDR students at UEL-Brazil.

I serve as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Science and Cycling and I am a member of the editorial board of the Sports Biomechanics journal, European Journal of Sports Sciences, Isokinetics and Exercise Science, and Human Movement journal.
